Prof Williams Abayaawien Atuilik

Prof. Williams Abayaawien Atuilik is Vice President & Provost of Heritage Christian University. He is a fellow of: Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG); Chartered Institute of Bankers, Chartered Institute of Taxation, and Institute of Directors. He’s also a teacher, Barrister at Law and Insolvency Practitioner. He has authored over thirty peer reviewed journal articles and several study manuals commissioned by ICAG and Accountancy Bodies of west Africa (ABWA) for its Accounting Technician Scheme Werst Africa (ATSWA) programme. In the past, Prof. Atuilik worked on projects funded by: PAFA, AfDB, World Bank, USAID, WHO, DFID, etc. providing consulting services in accountancy education, governance & leadership, Public Financial Management, IPSAS and IFRS in several African countries. He is a member of the National Sustainability Reporting Implementation Committee and the IPSAS implementation Committee of Ghana. He served previously as the President of ICAG; and Board member of PAFA and ABWA.
