Raymond is a Director with W.consulting, a corporate reporting advisory firm, based in Johannesburg. He has been involved in corporate reporting consulting and implementation projects for listed, private and public interest entities for over 20 years, specialising in the interpretation and practical application of IFRS standards. Raymond is passionate about the advancement of and capacity building in the accountancy profession, with frequent involvement in the training of finance professionals. He is a co-author of the publication Applying IFRS for SMEs. Raymond represents PAFA at the Accounting Standards Advisory Forum, an advisory body of the IFRS Foundation. He currently serves as chairman of the PAFA’s Corporate Value Reporting Technical Advisory Group. He is a member of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange’s Financial Reporting Investigations Panel. He also serves on the Zimbabwe Accounting Practices Board and chairs the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants Legal Compliance Committee.
